Open Play is our indoor play village in downtown Calistoga — climbing, pretend shops, kinetic sand, a baby-safe corner — with a tasting bar ten steps away. Come for an hour, stay for the afternoon, and leave with everyone's needs actually met.

What's inside
The play village
A little town to run: market stall, kitchen, climbing structure, reading nook. Built for ages 0–8, with a soft, gated area for babies and new walkers.
Sensory stations
Kinetic sand, water table, light table and pourables, rotated so it never feels like the same visit twice.
Saturday Drop-In Childcare
Saturdays 1–5pm, ages 10 months–13 years. Leave them with our team and go taste, nap, hike, or answer email in peace.
Sensory Sessions
OT-informed hours at 11am and 3pm on Mondays and Fridays for babies and toddlers, focused on regulation and fine motor play.
Wine for the grown-ups
Kintsugi flights and glasses poured at the bar beside the play space — so nobody has to choose between Napa and naptime.
Snacks and reality
Coffee, snacks, changing tables, a place to warm a bottle, and staff who have all been the parent standing there sweating.

Saturday Drop-In Childcare at The Village
Need a few hours to run errands, enjoy lunch, get some work done, go wine tasting, or simply have a little time to yourself?
Drop-in childcare is available Saturdays from 1–5 PM at The Village. Children can stay for up to four hours in our supervised play space while grown-ups step out and enjoy a little uninterrupted time.
During their visit, kids can play, create, explore, and spend time with our caring staff in a comfortable, engaging environment designed for children.

Children must be at least 10 months old and no older than 13 years old. Potty training is not required.

Spots are limited each Saturday, so we recommend reserving ahead of time.
